Word of the Day

The word of the day is "lightening" a.k.a. "dropping"

Definition: When the fetus descends into the pelvic cavity. In first-time mothers, usually occurs two to four weeks before delivery; women who have already given birth usually don't lighten until they begin labor.

Everywhere we go, I hear how the baby is lightening. According to one nurse at the hospital, "oooooh, girl.. that baby has dropped... that baby is coming anytime now!" According to another undisclosed source, "there is no way, she [Jamie] will make it three more weeks."
